Fountain with mosaic and bronze fish head as gargoyle integrated into the Strudelhof Staircase. The Strudelhof Staircase, built in 1910, was commissioned by Karl Lueger. The architecturally remarkable staircase in Vienna's 9th district became famous through its literary treatment in Heimito von Doderer's novel "Die Strudelhofstiege" oder "Melzer und die Tiefe der Jahre".
