Quantitative Analysis of Accretion Phenomenon on a Heatable NACA0012 Airfoil

The dataset focuses on quantitative analysis of accretion process on a heatable NACA0012 airfoil. The experiments were carried out for a wide range of parameters in the icing wind tunnel of TU Braunschweig. The dataset includes key information on geometrics details of the test article as well as test matrix used to carry out the experimental investigation. Besides that temperature evolution plots as well as processed data (in the form of plots, excel files and videos) on accretion growth is made accessible. The dataset provides a sound basis for development, calibration and validation of numerical icing models.
