Turkestan Islamic Party's \"Islam Awazi\"

Islam Awazi (Voice of Islam) is a newspaper published by Turkistan Islamic Party from 2016-2019 on its website: http://www.muhsinlar.com. It consists a total of 63 issues. I analysised the semiotic and textual elements of the publication in my research article: Muslim, Muhsin, and the Path of Salafi al-Salih: Analysing the Turkestan Islamic Party’s Online Propaganda and its Call for Jihad in the Uyghur Community. The study reveals how \"Islam Awazi\" strategically asserts that the true essence of Uyghur identity lies not only in Islam as a Muslim but also in achieving the state of Muhsin through the Path of Salafi al-Salih, which centres on a prescribed approach to Al-Tawhid and Al-Iman. Essentially, it is a call for elevation that directly addresses perceived hindrances among the Uyghur community, such as the veneration of Sufi saints and alcohol consumption, viewing them as a result of Chinese corruption that must be eliminated. Subsequently, Jihad is called for against Chinese authorities. However, this struggle is not considered unique to the Uyghurs but resonates with the broader Ummah, extending the struggle in China into the global Jihadism movement.

伊斯兰之声报（Islam Awazi）是突厥斯坦伊斯兰党于2016年至2019年在其官方网站http://www.muhsinlar.com发布的报纸，共计63期。笔者在学术论文《穆斯林、穆哈辛与正统赛莱菲之道：探析突厥斯坦伊斯兰党的网络宣传与维吾尔社群中的圣战号召》中，对该出版物的符号学与文本要素展开了分析。该项研究揭示了《伊斯兰之声报》如何通过策略性叙事，宣称维吾尔身份的真正本质不仅在于作为穆斯林的伊斯兰信仰，更在于通过正统赛莱菲之道（Salafi al-Salih）达成穆哈辛（Muhsin）的境界——该之道以规定性的认主独一（Al-Tawhid）与正信（Al-Iman）路径为核心。从本质而言，该报号召实现精神升华，直指维吾尔社群中被认定的阻碍因素：例如对苏菲圣徒的尊崇与饮酒行为，并将这些现象归咎于中国的腐化，认为必须予以根除。随后，该报号召针对中国当局开展圣战（Jihad）。然而，这场斗争并非维吾尔族独有，而是与更广泛的乌玛（Ummah）产生共鸣，将中国境内的斗争延伸至全球圣战主义运动之中。
