nesting architecture of Discoelius wangi

The dataset contains nest-level morphological and reproductive parameters of Discoelius wangi, a solitary potter wasp. For each nest the following variables are reported: (1) architectural metrics—nest diameter (mm), length of the vestibular corridor (mm), number of brood cells, and number of intercalary cells; (2) brood composition—counts of males and females reared; (3) performance indices—total emergences, emergence success rate (emergences / brood cells), and sex-specific emergence rates (males and females separately); and (4) standardized log-transformed morphological variables (log_std_Diameter, log_std_Length_of_the_vestibule, log_std_Intercalary) that facilitate comparative allometric analyses. The data set encompasses 96 nests and provides the essential information required to investigate nest architecture–reproductive output relationships, sex-ratio patterns, and developmental success in D. wangi.
