The Oura-type of Tibetan Sheep is one of important livestock in Qinghai Tibet Plateau, whose excellent characteristics are related to the microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tracts. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the microbial characterization of the nine different gastrointestinal segments (rumen, reticulum, abomasum, duodenum, ileum, cecum, colon, rectum and feces) of Oura-type of Tibetan Sheep were studied by using Metagenomic sequencing.
