First records of the class Crinoidea (Echinodermata) in the Colombian Pacific Ocean / Primeros registros de la clase Crinoidea (Echinodermata) en el Océano Pacífico colombiano

During 2012, the project "Biological and physical baseline in TUM Offshore blocks 6 and 7 subject to hydrocarbon exploration" was developed by the Institute of Marine and Coastal Research (INVEMAR) and the National Hydrocarbon Agency (ANH) of Colombia. This project was carried out in the soft bottoms of the Colombian South Pacific (offshore Nariño department) between 350 and 934 m depth. Among the samples, 411 crinoids (Echinodermata) were collected and deposited in the Marine Natural History Museum of Colombia, organized and catalogued in 9 lots, which constitute the present data set. These records belong to three species (one identified only to family), two genera, two families, one order, and one class. This dataset complements the corresponding scientific publication (in press).
