Drivers of taxonomic, phylogenetic, and functional diversity of Phyllostomidae bats across Brazil
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the data and code necessary to reproduce the analyses of the study on the drivers of taxonomic, phylogenetic, and functional diversity of Phyllostomidae bats across Brazilian biomes. The repository includes: Community data: Abundance matrix for 156 bat communities across six Brazilian biomes (phyllostomidae_communities.csv). Trait data: Functional trait matrix for Phyllostomidae species, including forearm length, body mass, aspect ratio, relative wing loading, greatest skull length, mastoid breadth, and ear length (phyllostomidae_functional_traits.csv). Environmental data: Bioclimatic variables (WorldClim), land-use proportions, landscape diversity indices, and altitude for each community (environmental_data.csv). Geographic distances: Geographic distance matrix between all communities (geo_dist.csv). Beta diversity function: Custom R function to calculate Chao-Sorensen beta diversity for taxonomic, phylogenetic, and functional dimensions (beta_chao.R). Analysis script: Main R script to reproduce all analyses, including alpha and beta diversity calculations, GAM modeling, and diagnostic tests (main_script.R). Supplementary material: Additional tables and figures referenced in the main text (Supplementary_Material_S1.pdf). The phylogenetic tree used in this study was published by Upham et al. (2019) and is available at Dryad (doi:10.5061/dryad.tb03d03). The file name is RAxML_bipartitions.result_FIN4_raw_rooted_wBoots_4098mam1out_OK.newick and is loaded directly by the script main_analysis_script.R. Functional trait data were compiled from the sources listed in Table S3 of the supplementary material.
