Confocal data of Zavoticus yini, holotype, NIGP200739-2

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the holotype of Zavoticus yini (NIGP200739-2) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. This dataset is associated with the publication "Zavoticus yini gen. et sp. nov., a new euaesthetine rove beetle from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)" (DOI:10.1002/ece3.71960). Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10) laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
