Isotopic Compositions and Source Identification of Atmospheric Particulate Bound Cadmium in Chinese Megacities

This dataset contains concentrations and stable isotopic compositions (δ114Cd) of cadmium (Cd) in PM2.5 samples collected from five Chinese megacities, including Beijing, Jinan, Lanzhou, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. The dataset also includes PM2.5 mass concentrations, enrichment factors (EFucc), elemental concentrations (e.g., Fe, Zn, As, Sb, Pb), and ancillary parameters used for source identification.All PM2.5 samples were collected during both winter and summer of 2018 using high-volume samplers. Cadmium isotopic compositions were measured by MC–ICP–MS after chromatographic purification. These data support the investigation of anthropogenic sources of atmospheric cadmium and provide observational constraints for urban atmospheric Cd isotope signatures.
