资源简介:
This dataset contains the supplementary material of a longitudinal field study in which participants lived with the living artefact <em>Flaviri</em> in their homes. The study forms part of the dissertation "<em>Flavobacteria across Time and Scale: Designing for Human-Microbe Engagement</em>" and is currently under review for publication. The project investigates everyday engagement with a Flavobacteria-based living artefact. We designed Flaviri to sustain Flavobacteria, a microorganism known for its dynamic and temporal colourations, and enabled two distinct ways for participants to interact with the organism, each eliciting different microbial responses. The artefact was deployed in a four-week longitudinal study with six participants. Human engagement with microbial expressions was analysed through diary entries, semi-structured interviews, and interaction data via embedded sensors. The supplementary materials include documentation of the artefact design and fabrication, participant instructions, interview materials, and the codebook used for thematic analysis.
