Stations were established at the same location each year and equipped with data loggers and sensors for stage, electrical conductivity, turbidity and temperature. Manual samples were taken during each season at varying intervals, typically daily or more frequently for suspended sediment concentration and water chemistry. River manually rated and a stage-rating curve was developed for each year using the velocity-area method and a hand current meter.
