Data for: Formation mechanism analysis of karst collapses in Jinshuizha, Wuhan, China

To investigate the karst collapse mechanism in the Wuhan Jinshuizha area, China, we jointly utilized geophysical and borehole data. The geophysical data involved the inversion of five ERT profile datasets. Data acquisition was carried out using the SuperStingR8 instrument manufactured by AGI Corporation in the United States, and 2D inversion was conducted using the RES software. The borehole data consisted of data from nine boreholes within the study area, with a maximum depth of 50 m. The "./JSZDATA" folder contains five categories of files: (1) Raw geophysical data: The complete, unprocessed Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) measurements (in standard format .dat files with electrode geometry, measured resistances/apparent resistivities, and configuration details). (2) Inverted data: The final inverted 2D resistivity models (.xyz files containing spatial coordinates and resistivity values). (3) Borehole data: A table summarizing all borehole locations, depths, and standardized lithological descriptions (as a .csv file). (4) Spatial data: Coordinates of the ERT profiles, borehole locations, and doline features ( .ovkml file). (5) Comprehensive metadata: A detailed README file describing the dataset structure, file formats, measurement parameters.
