This study compared the liver transcriptome of normal and growth hormone receptor knockout (GHRKO) mice treated with 17 alpha estradiol (17aE2). This study aimed to understand the sex specific differences in response to 17aE2. Additionally, we aimed to understand how 17aE2 was feminizing male liver transcriptome, as GH ablation is known for feminizing liver transcriptome.
