资源简介:
The event of co-infection of influenza A virus (IAV) and Streptococcus pyogenes, also known as group A Streptococcus (GAS), is associated with an exacerbation of human symptoms when compared to the single infection from each pathogen. The present study exploits the advantages of the dual RNA-seq approach to simultaneously study the transcriptome of both host and pathogen during the infection process. The pathogens used are the IAV, GAS strains AP1 (serotype M1), and GAS strain 591 (serotype M49). Meanwhile, the host is the human pharyngeal epithelial cell line Detroit 562.
