Ocean - UK Consumer Database

Ocean delivers deep insights into demographic, digital, lifestyle, and attitudinal characteristics, offering a comprehensive view of individuals within households.

By integrating data from the Edited Electoral Roll, government and open data sources, research surveys, and more, Ocean paints a detailed picture of the UK population. With over 700 attributes, including consumer attitudes, behaviours, affluence and lifestyles, across shopping, technology, finance, and social networking, you can append this valuable data to your customer records, enriching your segmentation, and propensity models.

Ocean contains the names and addresses of approximately 41 million adults in the United Kingdom and is used for profiling, enrichment, acquisition, and market sizing.

Ocean contains a wide range of actual attributes, as well as those modelled through propensity scoring, making it particularly useful in powering machine learning algorithms and statistical models.

Data enrichment process:

Snowflake users will make their customer files available to share through a secure share, implementing any necessary access controls or data masking.

Upon a signed contract, CACI will match the customer files with the Ocean database and append the desired variables to the customer files. CACI will then return the enriched customer records via Snowflake's secure data share, ensuring full end-to-end data security and compliance.
