Regeneration of Redbank Creek, Grose Vale and the Earthcare Centre

Redbank Creek riparian zone contains the Endangered Ecological Community (EEC) Riverflat Eucalypt Forest of Coastal Floodplains. The team will work in 2 public reserves and adjacent creeklines to restore riparian bushland via weed removal, track and sign repair, clear debris and measure water quality. Cat's Claw Creeper is a Weeds of National Significance which is rapidly spreading into EECs and other bushland areas of Grose Vale. The team will remove this weed with 70 already engaged and educated landholders. The Earthcare Centre is a facility supported by the University of Western Sydney to promote environmentally responsible land use. The team will engage in weed identification, bushland restoration, and landscape management. A guest lecturer will also talk about access to both university and TAFE.
