This layer was developed for the 2024 Atlanta Regional Freight Mobility Plan (2024 ARFMP) and published by the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC). This layer includes the following components: Regional Truck Routes: Regional Truck Routes are a designated network of roadways critical for accommodating and facilitating the efficient movement of freight within the region while minimizing impacts on local communities and balancing mobility and safety needs. The ARC designated Regional Truck Routes in the Atlanta Strategic Truck Route Master Plan (ASTRoMaP) . National Highway Freight Network: These highways consist of the National Highway Freight Network (NHFN), providing important continuity and access to freight transportation facilities.
