Research data on the effect of protective sleeves on rotor losses of high-speed permanent magnet motors was obtained through theoretical analysis and simulation modeling. This dataset records the eddy current losses of each component of the composite protective sleeve, and specifically includes the structural schematic diagram of the composite protective sleeve, the simulation model diagram, the eddy current losses of each part of the rotor with a 0.1mm inner copper layer, and the diagrams illustrating the impact of copper layer thickness variation on each part of the rotor. The main data types are as follows: eddy current losses of each part of the rotor without a copper layer in the composite protective sleeve; eddy current losses of each part of the rotor with a 0.1mm inner copper layer in the composite protective sleeve; eddy current losses of each part of the rotor with a 0.1mm middle copper layer in the composite protective sleeve; and eddy current losses of each part of the rotor under varying copper layer thicknesses.
