NOAA Chesapeake Bay Interpretive Buoy System (CBIBS)

<p><b>Open the Data Resource:</b> <a href='https://buoybay.noaa.gov/' rel='nofollow ugc'>https://buoybay.noaa.gov/</a></p> <p>The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Chesapeake Bay Interpretive Buoy System (CBIBS) is a network of observing platforms (buoys) that collect meteorological, oceanographic, and water-quality data and relay that information in near real time. NOAA strives to make CBIBS data easy to access and easy to use.</p> <ul> <li>The CBIBS Data Snapshot delivers a spreadsheet of observations from the buoys.</li> <li>The CBIBS Data Graphing Tool gives you what you need to create graphs of data.</li> <li>Download Data enables you to choose time period, platform and parameter and then to download an Excel file so you can use the data as you wish.</li> <li>Parameters Measured defines and describes each of the parameters that CBIBS buoys measure.</li> </ul>
