FAIRsharing record for: FAIR Metric - F1 - Metadata - Globally unique identifiers for database content

This FAIRsharing record describes: FM:F1:M:GU-ARK is a database-level metric that requires the minting of community-relevant, publicly available identifiers for at least some of the content within the database being evaluated. It expects a FAIRsharing URL or DOI as its input and evaluates the database described by the FAIRsharing record for the guaranteed global uniqueness of its identifier schema (see our gitbook documentation linked as part of this record for more information about id schemas for databases and how to curate them in a FAIRsharing record). As described by the GFF, global uniqueness guarantees the unambiguous referencing of the described resource; it is insufficient for it to be unique only locally.
