资源简介:
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District archaeological collections were sent to the Veterans Curation Project’s (VCP) St. Louis laboratory in the fall of 2009. The VCP St. Louis laboratory is a USACE, St. Louis District’s Mandatory Center of Expertise for the Curation and Management of Archaeological Collections project, which is staffed through Brockington and Associates, Inc., an archaeological contract firm located in Norcross, Georgia.
In the re-housing process of each investigative effort of the USACE, Louisville District collection, the same standard procedures and Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology, Indiana University (GBL) guidelines were followed. Upon completion of the curation management project, collections were sent to GBL for permanent curation.
The procedures employed by the VCP to rehouse the archaeological material from the Mary Ann Cole Site (12CR1) 1977 investigation are discussed in the Artifact Report. The report can be found in tDAR at https://core.tdar.org/document/425775/artifact-report-mary-ann-cole-site-12cr1-1977
