Ultrasound-Guided PTH Washout and ROLL Technique Are Not Associated With Clinically Significant Stromal Fibrosis or Malignancy-Mimicking Histopathologic Changes in Parathyroid Adenomas

This dataset contains de-identified histopathologic image archives and structured clinical grouping data derived from a prospective cohort of patients with parathyroid adenomas who underwent ultrasound-guided parathyroid hormone washout (PTH-WO) and radioguided occult lesion localization (ROLL) procedures. Patients were stratified into three predefined groups: Group 0 (washout-naïve cases, n=70), Group 1 (single-puncture cases, n=43), and Group 2 (double-puncture cases, n=51). The dataset includes Word-based histopathologic image collections and Excel-based structured datasets documenting stromal fibrosis, malignancy-mimicking histomorphologic patterns (including fibrous bands, capsular pseudoinvasion, tumor implantation, hemorrhage, and hemosiderin deposition), and corresponding procedural exposure categories. All patient identifiers have been removed in accordance with institutional ethical approval and the Declaration of Helsinki. The dataset supports reproducibility and secondary analyses related to the histopathologic safety profile of ultrasound-guided PTH washout and ROLL techniques in parathyroid adenomas.
