The German eROSITA Consortium (eROSITA-DE) released the first six months of data from the SRG/eROSITA All-Sky Survey (eRASS1) on January 31, 2024, and the data are proprietary to the German eROSITA Consortium. The data were observed from December 2019 to June 2020. The surveyed sky area covers a great circle passing through (l,b)=(0, +90); (0, -90) and the Galactic Center Sagittarius A* (SgrA*) with coordinates (l,b)=(359.94423568, -0.04616002), with Galactic longitude l ranging from 179.94423568 to 359.94423568. The total surveyed sky area is approximately 20626.5 square degrees. The effective exposure time varies across different sky fields: approximately 100 seconds near the ecliptic, and over 10,000 seconds near the ecliptic poles, within the 0.6–2.3 keV energy band. The eROSITA-DE Data Release 1 (DR1) provides calibration event lists, images, exposure maps, background maps, and sensitivity maps in the 0.2–10 keV energy band, as well as flux upper limits for various energy bands. Additionally, source spectra and light curves of selected (bright) targets have been released. These data products are organized into independent sky tiles of 3.6×3.6 square degrees. Within the archive, the products are arranged in directories named by the sky field's declination number (DDD), which contain subdirectories named by their right ascension number (RRR). Within these subdirectories, the results of four different analysis pipelines (EXP, DET, SOU, and UPP) are stored. Specifically, EXP contains the primary event files and images for each band; DET contains exposure maps and source detection products for each band; SOU contains source products; and flux upper limit products are located in UPP. Note that source products are only generated for sources with high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
