This data set was acquired with a Nikon Coolpix 995 Digital Camera on the HOV Alvin during Atlantis expedition AT15-15 conducted in 2007 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Timothy Shank; Investigator(s): Dr. George Luther). These data files are of JPEG Image format and include Photograph images that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: Integrated Studies of Biological Community Structure at Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Vents, IDEA: Coupling Communication Technology with in Situ Voltammetric Analyzers for Real Time and Unattended Monitoring of Biogeochemically Relevant Chemical Species, and Collaborative Research: MIP: Physiology and molecular ecology of thermophilic nitrate-reducing microorgansisms at deep-sea hydrothermal vents, and fun
