资源简介:
DART is a Dual Aperture particle detector that is able to measure particles in opposite directions 180 deg apart using one single detector stack. This first version of the instrument was built to measure only electrons, however it posses a lot of flexibility in terms to improve capability to measure other type of particles, energy range, energy resolution, etc (Romero-Minaya et al. 2026)Here I present the results from the Geant4 simulations for the Dual Aperture Relativistic Electron Telescope (DART). The first folder 'Electrons_Sphere_cos_1detector_0-10MeV' is the output txt files for the simulations of electrons fired from a spherical surface into the instrument, it shows the energy deposited in the five detectors used in the instrument. Inside these folders we are going to find two more folders that correspond to simulations from UP and DOWN directions, energy range for electrons simulated is from 0MeV to 10MeV.The second folder 'Electrons_Spherical_Noise_holes_cos_1detector_0-10MeV' is the output txt files for the simulations of electrons fired from a spherical surface into the instrument, but from the sides (FOV not included) it shows the energy deposited in the five detectors used in the instrument. Inside these folders we are going to find two more folders that correspond to simulations from UP and DOWN directions, energy range for electrons simulated is from 0MeV to 10MeV. I also have made simulations for protons from 0MeV to 100MeV but due to space factor I have not included here.
