资源简介:
Date of data collection: 2019-05-30 to 2019-08-20
Geographic location of data collection: 44.632ºN, 63.580ºW, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Description of methods used for collection/generation of data:
A fog monitor (FM-120, Droplet Measurement Technologies) measured droplet size distributions for droplets 2-50 µm in diameter. The inlet pointed 163 degrees from north. Wind speed and direction were measured by a Vaisala VXT510 two-dimensional (2D) sonic anemometer integrated into an Airpointer air quality monitoring system (Airpointer.com, SCL Instrumentation Inc., Richmond Hill, ON).
Methods for processing the data:
Data have been minute-averaged. The second set of droplet counts (with units of #/cm3/min) described has been calculated from the raw droplet count, the applied air speed, and sample area. No corrections have been applied. Only data from the fog events analyzed in the publication are included.
