资源简介:
The goal of this study is to assess alternative splicing (AS) patterns in malathion resistant Drosophila suzukii collected in CA, USA when treated with a sublethal dosage of insecticide. Isofemale lines were generated from D. suzukii that are resistant to malathion. Females were entrained in 12hours light:12hours dark (12:12LD) at 25C for 2 fulls days. On the third day, at 10 hours after lights on, flies were moved into scintillation glass vials coated with dried residue of 20ppm malathion (insecticide) or acetone (vehicle) and placed back into the incubator. After 6 hours of treatment in the vials, flies were collected on dry ice at 16 hours after lights on (ZT16). RNA was extracted from the bodies using Trizol. RNA was sequenced with both Illumina short reads and PacBio long reads.
