Ecosystem service capacity matrix by land use and marginal/sensitive land contexts for Wallonia, based on expert consensus

This dataset contains three annexes supporting the article Beyond surface change: soil vulnerability and ecosystem service loss under artificialisation in Wallonia. It provides the complete ecosystem service capacity matrix for Wallonia (2007–2018), together with detailed descriptions of its structure and classifications. Suppl. material 1. Description of matrix rows and correspondence with the EU Ecosystem Typology. This table presents an overview of the matrix rows and their alignment with the EU ecosystem classification used in the environmental accounting framework. Suppl. material 2. Description of matrix columns and their alignment with the CICES classification (v5.2) and IPBES “Nature’s Contribution to People”.
