<b>Do ecological dissimilarity and trait strategies in the native range predict alien plant establishment in the introduced range?</b>

Leveraging the unidirectional invasion pathway of plant species native to the Mediterranean into California, we conducted a cross-continental study to examine the phylogenetic and functional dissimilarity between native and alien plants, and assessed the differences in trait-trait relationships between native and alien species across both their native and introduced ranges.
