SELECTION OF PIPELINES FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS FROM STORAGE TANKS AT OIL TERMINALS

This article analyzes the technological and hydraulic aspects of selecting pipeline systems for the transportation of petroleum products from storage tanks to consumers at oil terminals. The study examines the influence of pipeline diameter, material, flow regime, and elevation difference on the efficiency of the transportation process, based on foreign scientific literature and practical engineering schemes.
