在区域经济学中,区域内的技术水平、政治制度、人口分布状况、自然资源状况等等,都对该区域的经济活动影响极大,作为“第一生产力”的科学技术,与区域内的城市化和城市经济问题、空间结构、区域生产力布局、资源开发利用等问题息息相关,技术进步直接推进社会经济增长。  作为衡量技术创新的重要指标,专利数据足以计量创新成果。根据国家知识产权局2020年12月公布的知识产权统计简报,2020年1月-11月,我国发明专利申请140.3万件,发明专利授权47.0万件,较2019年同比增长40%。如此规模的专利统计量不难说明我国创新层面仍然呈现稳健发展势头。然而,我们发现,业内对于专利宏观数据的开发过于单调,大都以省份、年度为最小统计单位,未能进行更微观层面的统计挖掘。

In regional economics, factors including technological level, political institutions, population distribution, and natural resource endowments within a region exert significant impacts on its economic activities. Science and technology, known as the "primary productive force", are closely linked to issues such as regional urbanization and urban economy, spatial structure, regional productivity layout, and resource development and utilization, while technological advancement directly promotes socio-economic growth. Patent data, as a key indicator for measuring technological innovation, can effectively quantify innovation outcomes. According to the intellectual property statistics briefing released by the National Intellectual Property Administration in December 2020, from January to November 2020, China received 1.403 million invention patent applications and granted 470,000 invention patents, marking a 40% year-on-year growth compared to 2019. Such a substantial scale of patent statistics clearly demonstrates that China's innovation sector still maintains a steady development momentum. However, we have observed that the utilization of macro patent data in the relevant field is overly simplistic: most studies take provinces and years as the smallest statistical units, failing to conduct more in-depth micro-level statistical mining.
