This dataset provides topographic factor (slope length factor) data for the soil loss equation in the Yellow River Basin. It has a spatial resolution of 12.5 m and contains 197 tiled data files. The slope length data was extracted from ALOS DEM data with 12.5 m resolution, and the slope length factor for soil and water loss in the Yellow River Basin was calculated using LS-Tool. This dataset can be applied to quantitative evaluation of soil erosion, eroded terrain analysis, terrestrial hydrological analysis, vegetation suitability assessment and other related applications in the whole or partial areas of the Yellow River Basin.
