This is the supporting information of a sandbox modeling study focusing on fault processes in orogenic wedge frontal areas, like the Longmen Shan front where the 2008 Wenchuan earthqauke and 2013 Lushan earthquake occurred. It contains four parts, including:

Generated by sandbox modeling and mechanics analysis, these data are helpful to understand why and how fault segmentation shows up during both long-term and short-term seismic deformation of orogenic wedge front.
