资源简介:
This dataset contains vocabulary, words, terms, phrases and sentences in Parikwaki (also called Palikur in English), a language of the Maipuran subfamily of the Arawak language family. Parikwaki is spoken by Parikweneh (also known as Palikur in English), an Indigenous People currently residing on both sides of the Franco-Brazilian border on the Guiana Shield. This lexicon was inventoried during an ethnomedicinal study of knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) relating to diabetes that was conducted in Parikweneh villages in the French communes of Macouria and Saint-Georges-de-l’Oyapock in the French overseas department of French Guiana. Where possible, the spelling of words from the Portuguese-Parikwaki dictionnary are provided (Green et al. 2019). Some spellings are provided by Grenand et al. (2004).
