Ky Rail Switchyards

This dynamic map service includes Rail Switchyards in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The dataset includes rail yard data identified in a data collection effort by the fifteen Kentucky Area Development Districts. Attributes were derived from their data collection and/or from review of available aerial photography. Limitations of the data: Locations and functions have not been verified with the operating railroads. Boundaries are generally digitzed by review of the available aerial photography and may include more or less property than owned/managed by the railroad.
