CONTENTS OF THIS DATASET
1) time_calibrated_phylogeny_190_species.nwk: A time-calibrated phylogeny of 190 species of placental mammals included in this study.
2) time_calibrated_phylogeny_100_species.nwk: A time-calibrated phylogeny of a carefully curated set of 100 placental mammals (see the main text of the study for more details).
3) species_tree_for_TRACCER.nwk: A phylogeny of 100 placental mammals, 2 monotremes, and 14 marsupials, with branch lengths in units of substitutions per site. This phylogeny was used for the TRACCER screens of our study.
4) gene_trees_for_TRACCER.txt: 17,314 gene trees with a topology fixed to that of the species' phylogeny (species_tree_for_TRACCER.nwk). These gene trees were part of the TRACCER screens described in our study.
