RNA-seq results in adipose tissues of fat-specific Mecp2 knockout mice

Fat-specific knockout of Mecp2 results in downregulation of adipogenesis genes and upregulation of theromgenesis genes Overall design: Fat-specific Mecp2 knockout male mice (Mecp2 Adi KO) and their age-, sex- matched control mice were fed with normal chow diet (NCD) and maintained in standard housing conditions. For each experimental group, two biological replicates of RNA samples were sent for RNA-seq. Each sample consists of a pool of RNAs extracted from inguinal adipose tissue or brown adipose tissue of 3 different mice.
