Huwe1_tumour_sequencing

We have determined that mutations in the gene Huwe1 result in rapid tumour formation within the intestine. One hypothesis for this is a mutator phenotype resulting in a higher frequency of somatic point mutations. We have support for this hypothesis from experiments performed in cell culture. In this project we wish to sequence the exome of tumours from Huwe1 mutant mice to look at the frequency, location and sequence context of somatic mutations associated with Huwe1 loss.
