Number of inbound visitors to Vietnam 2019-2021, by month

Vietnam received almost two million international tourists in the first month of 2020. This number declined quickly by almost 100 percent to only around 17.2 thousand inbound visitors in December 2021 due to the travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, Vietnam tended to welcome more than one million foreign tourists each month from September to December 2019.

2020年伊始，越南接待了近两百万国际游客。受COVID-19疫情期间旅行限制的影响，这一数字迅速下降，至2021年12月仅剩约17.2千名入境游客，降幅高达近100%。疫情爆发前，自2019年9月至12月，越南每月均倾向于欢迎超过一百万的外国游客。
