BISMaL

The Biological Information System for Marine Life, in short BISMaL, is a web-based data system for biodiversity information, particularly in biogeographic data of marine organisms. BISMaL was constructed by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) and is operated in the Global Oceanographic Data Center (GODAC) of JAMSTEC.海洋生物信息系统（Biological Information System for Marine Life，简称BISMaL）是一款面向生物多样性信息的网页型数据系统，尤其聚焦于海洋生物的生物地理数据。该系统由日本海洋地球科学技术厅（Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology，简称JAMSTEC）搭建，并由其下属的全球海洋数据中心（Global Oceanographic Data Center，简称GODAC）负责运维。
