Relationship Between Number of Insects and Habitat Setting at York University

This study examines the relationship between the number of insects and it's habitat setting Methods:-Transects were used to measure 25 metres in both woodlot and grassland settings-10 trials were carried out for each habitat, using sweep nets to capture insects-Data was recorded in an Excel spreadsheet and uploaded to FigshareHypothesis:There is a correlation between number of insects and habitat setting. Prediction:There is a correlation between the number of insects and habitat setting due to the amount of flowers present. If there are more flowers present in an area, there will be more insects present as well, as flowers provide many benefits such as protection.
