CONTENT AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN COMPETENCIES OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The article highlights the features of teaching foreign languages using modern technologies in digital age. Currently, using various competencies are required from teachers, that’s why the most used and relevant in teaching foreign languages is the competence-based approach. The logic of the competence approach presupposes the formation of skills and the development on their basis of such abilities that allow a person to realize himself to the maximum in a given society.
