RNA-seq for three developmental stages in Rosa chinensis 'Old Blush' flowers

This project investigates the dynamic changes in petal coloration during flower development in Rosa chinensis Old Blush. We collected petal tissues at three distinct developmental stages:S1 (Early bud stage): Petals are fully uncolored, representing the initial state before pigment accumulation.S2 (Colored bud stage): Sepals have opened, and petals exhibit their most intense coloration, corresponding to peak pigment deposition.S3 (Post-anthesis stage): Two days after flower opening, petal color shows significant fading, indicating pigment degradation or structural changes.
