We showed that the BMPRII/ALK-1/SMAD/ATOH8 axis protects against the development of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). We have performed ChIP-seq analyses to reveal the function of both SMAD and ATOH8. Overall design: SMAD1/5 ChIP-seq analyses were performed in human pulmonary arterial endothelial cells (HPAECs) treated with 1 ng/ml BMP-9 for 1.5 h (biological duplicate). FLAG ChIP-seq alalysis was performed in HPAEC stably expressing FLAG-ATOH8.
