The role of different cells in intimal hyperplasia remains unintelligible. To characterize the cells in intimal hyperplasia, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing of whole remodeled vessel cells from C57BL/6J mice with a murine model of intimal hyperplasia at an early (IH 2w) or late stage (IH 4w). The single-cell RNA-seq analyses revealed the heterogeneity of cells in vascular remodeling. Single-cell RNA sequencing of whole vessel cells from the remodeled carotid artery of a murine model of intimal hyperplasia at 2-week time point (n=18, eight weeks-age). Single-cell RNA sequencing of whole vessel cells from the remodeled carotid artery of a murine model of intimal hyperplasia at 4-week time point (n=18, eight weeks-age).
