"Organised Marketing", the first official organ of the Egg Marketing Board, was published from 26 August 1933 to 3 June 1939. The magazine was re-named "The Poultry Farmer" from 10 June 1939 and the title remained in use until the cessation of the publication in June 1979. In addition to reports from the Board, the magazine contained articles about all aspects of the poultry industry including poultry raising, egg production and quality, egg market information, industry innovations and poultry industry news Australia wide. 'The Poultry Farmer' included an advice column in which the questions of correspondents were answered and advertisements for products and services relevant to the industry. Occasionally the Board published commemorative issues of the magazine including for the 40th and 50th anniversaries of producer-controlled Egg Marketing in New South Wales.
