NASA Lessons Learned Database is an official knowledge base maintained by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It compiles lessons learned from all NASA projects and programs. Reviewed and released by the NASA Chief Engineer’s Office and the NASA Engineering Network, these lessons document the original triggering incidents and provide improvement recommendations, facilitating NASA's continuous improvement through training, best practices, policies and procedures. The database covers multiple fields including engineering design, project management, safety assurance and flight operations, and is categorized by topic, process and year.
