Leishmania donovani (HU3) gene models

This dataset includes two files. By one hand, a Fasta file with the sequences of all gene models (coding and non-coding) that have been annotated to date in the L. donovani (HU3 strain) genome. By the other hand, a gtf file containing information to locate all genes on the L. donovani (HU3 strain) genome (https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/b82fm2w2h9/2). The genome sequence and gene annotations for this species were determined by Camacho et al (PMID: 30992521), but annotations for several protein-coding genes were improved after the analysis of Ribo-seq data (PMID: 37628688) and proteomic analyses (PMID: 38927711). This updated annotation has also been deposited at ENA (GCA_900635355.2)
