资源简介:
This is the first wave of a proposed two-wave study of the political attitudes and behavior of Australian voters and their elected representatives. The primary focus of the study was the reaction of the voters to the parties, leaders, and political issues in Australia in 1967. The Treiman occupational prestige scores were assigned to the dataset. This study was conducted a year after the 1966 Australian general election and includes 2054 respondents. Study documentation includes details on how Treiman Prestige scores were assigned. Topics include views about political parties and issues, problems of government, attitudes on Vietnam, union membership and participation, and, occupational and labor force life history for respondent and parents.
