Bacterial Communities of nest substrate and newly emerged Megachile rotundata adults

A study to determine the importance of vertical transmission for maintaining the symbiosis between Lactobacillus and Megachile rotundata. We conducted our study by analyzing the bacterial communities of nest substrates of Megachile rotundata and newly emerged adult Megachile rotundata that interacted with the nest substrate and that did not interact with the nest substrate during emerging.
